Which dancers count? A dancer counts while she is enrolled in a class in the studio's current season. A trial, a dancer who never enrolled, and one who left before the month counted do not. Your dancer count is always in view inside Dancebeam, and the plan follows it.

- Included in the $79, with no per-message charge, at any volume a dance studio sends.
- Card and bank processing
- Your families' card and bank payments cost Stripe's own published rates and nothing more: no markup, no commission for us. Cards are Stripe's standard US card rate, 2.9% plus 30 cents a payment.A studio with 300 families, each paying $100 a month by card, pays Stripe $960 on $30,000 in a typical month. There's no lock-in: your families' payments stay your studio's money.
- Switching your records over
- Free and done for you on request: send the export you already have, and your studio comes back ready to work. Before your families are billed, a person on our team checks your first month of charges.Each family re-enters at most its card.
- Support
- Chat and email reach a Dancebeam person within one hour, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in your studio's time zone, on the free plan too. A Sunday message is answered by 9:00 a.m. Monday.
- Cancellation and refunds
- You pay month to month and can cancel any day; the paid period runs to its end and is not refunded. After it, a studio through 50 dancers keeps working free and a larger one keeps every record read-only, with export open either way.The service terms carry the full wording.
Questions about the price
Does the price count dancers who quit in October?
It doesn't. $79 a month, every dancer included; free through 50.
$79 a month for all of that. Where's the catch?
Nothing is priced in later: the subscription is Dancebeam's only charge, texts and emails to parents are included with no per-message charge, your families' payment fees go to Stripe at its published rate, none of it ours, and there are no tiers or add-ons above it.
Am I locked into a card processor?
No. The fee is real: Stripe's own published rate, taken as each payment runs and itemised on every payout. Your families' payments stay your studio's money.
Does switching mean every family re-enters everything?
No. A person here moves your families, dancers, classes, balances and history in from the export you already have. Each family re-enters at most its own card.
