Dance studio management software

Run your studio year from one place.

Classes, registration, tuition, costumes and recital stay on one record, so a change you make once reaches billing, the room, the teacher and every parent.

A family's first-month charge, itemised before it posts

Registration

Families register and pay from their phones.

Parents choose from the class list, open the class page for the schedule and the price, and read the itemised amount, the sibling discount taken, before they commit. The payment takes the card right there. The confirmation shows both dancers' places, the family's schedule and what's owed. No app, no call to the front desk.

Tuition

Your studio's rules run themselves.

Tuition, prorates, sibling discounts, late fees, split households, costume fees and recital fees post by your policy, never by hand each month. When a family joins mid-month, the charge preview names every dancer's amount before anything posts.

Attendance

Teachers take roll in under a minute.

The roll opens on the phone already in the teacher's pocket. Marking present is a tap on each dancer's row. Allergies, medical flags, emergency contacts and who may pick each child up sit on the same roll, current to the minute.

Recital and the books

Costumes, tickets and recital fees stay on each family's account.

The costume order keeps each dancer's size and routines beside the family's costume total. Ticket money stays on the family's own account. At the deposit, what families paid minus the processor's fees is what the bank received, so the books close without a second ledger.

What you can count on

One price, everything.

Free through 50 dancers; $79 a month above that, every dancer included. Your families' payments cost Stripe's own published rate and nothing more: no markup, no commission for us.

Nothing changes mid-season unless you turn it on.

What you and your families see and do stays put from August to June. A change we make without asking lands in summer, announced before it does.

Your data leaves whole, any day.

Families, dancers, classes, money, attendance, waivers and staff hours leave in one click, whenever you want, with nothing held back.

A person answers within the hour.

Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in your studio's time zone, on the free plan too. A Sunday message is answered by 9:00 a.m. Monday.

Pricing

Free through 50 dancers. Then $79 a month, every dancer included.

Processing at Stripe's published rate. Texts and emails included. Switching done for you, free. Support on every plan.

Before you switch

A new system holds your records, your families' money and your season. The questions that come up first, answered straight.

Does the price count dancers who quit in October?

It doesn't. A dancer counts while she is enrolled in a class in the studio's current season. A trial, a dancer who never enrolled, and one who left before the month counted do not. $79 a month covers every dancer; free through 50. You pay month to month and can cancel any day.

$79 a month for all of that. Where's the catch?

Nothing is priced in later. The subscription is the only money Dancebeam takes from your studio. Texts and emails to parents are included, with no per-message charge. Your families' card and bank fees go to Stripe at Stripe's own published rate, none of it ours. There are no tiers, no per-dancer add-ons, no premium support.

Does switching mean months of re-keying?

You don't re-key. You send the export you already have, from whatever system you're leaving, and a person here moves your families, dancers, classes, balances and history in. Each family re-enters at most its own card. Before your families are billed, a person here checks that first month of charges.

Will setup eat my summer?

Your own class list becomes working classes, a registration path and a teacher's roll in one sitting. No settings questionnaire, no sales appointment.

Will an update land mid-season and change my desk?

No. A change you don't turn on waits for summer, announced before it lands.

Can parents understand their statements?

Every charge says which dancer, for what, how much, when it's due and whether it's paid. Families see the schedule and the whole amount before they commit.

If I ever leave, is my data hostage?

It isn't. Export stays open after you cancel, too. When you close your account you can export everything, and we delete within 30 days; what tax law requires us to keep stays seven years, and nothing else.
